One of Sound’s most vocal supporters and collectors just dropped his genesis track “Gone Away” on the platform.
Vivid Fever Dreams is an Austin-based alternative electronic producer who has been a core part of many artist and producer communities in web3, including LNRZ and Kits.io. It’s no wonder he’s caught the attention of so many collectors and received over 200 mints despite crushing gas costs.
“Gone Away” is also available to collect as a save campaign on Showtime, and the track is currently out on Spotify and other DSPs.

Behind the Music
Vivid Fever Dreams is a multi-instrumentalist who has a special interest in using web3 tools to further his art and collaborate with others.
For this song, he used samples from MSFT, who was one of the first artists to tokenize his samples on kits.io, a platform by Arpeggi Labs that makes it easy to collaborate. The samples played an important role in allowing him to create his own unique track, “Gone Away.”
He also participated in the production of $HIPPINFUK$, a song where he played the saxophone and sang vocals. The track was especially popular for its meme qualities and its inclusion of Sound CEO David Greenstein’s account, “Shipper.”
In his own words: “Music NFTs are a game changer for my output. I’ve met so many cool people and gotten so many opportunities that wouldn’t have been available without the connections I’ve made here. Inspiration is everywhere and I always feel pushed to experiment and get outside my comfort zone.”
Beyond the music, he’s also minted some Music NFT memes on his Decent profile.
