Kids of the Apocalypse (commonly referred to as KOTA) is a virtual artist project highlighting the story of a group struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
The project stands for freedom, creative empowerment and experimentation.
Featuring heavy hitters Icona Pop and Reo Cragun - their debut track EMPIRE quickly came out the gate firing with 100+ mints.
Starting with a free mint on Solana - KOTA was one of the first to release music on a chain other than Ethereum.

Behind The Music
KOTA’s sound is reminiscent of Daft Punk or Rezz.
The slow synth-heavy groove feels like you’re in the center of a video game - one that KOTA has been very vocal about showcasing on their socials and in their music videos.
With various characters taking on a life of their own - EMPIRE quickly jumps between a classic Icona Pop chorus to Reo Cragun cutting a verse on his take.
The drop came with a couple bonuses - including a reward for the first 33 collectors (which were claimed in the first minute) and an alternative version being airdropped to all collectors in June.
