DANC3 is the newest curator group releasing a mixtape NFT. Powered by some of the most active members of the Sound community, the track brings together some of the best dance music they’ve found in web3 today.
It all came together from the inspiration of others experimenting with Music NFTs. “I am very inspired by brokeinvstr and this mixtape wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t own the mixtape from Own The Sound,” said Crittie, the founder of the group.
As the amount of music being released onchain increases, we are excited about curation groups uncovering the best music being released, and bringing their own interpretation to the mix.

Behind The Music
DANC3 is a curator group that aims to “unite the world by making them DANC3” according to the mixtape’s drop page.
The group is driven by a love for the music, and everyone on the team has it.
The founder, Crittie, has always wanted to support artists, and she found that she could do that with a curator group.
Own The Sound was of course a big inspiration for Crittie, but so were curators like LNRZ, heds and Noise DAO. “memeing and copying is the key… Why not try what already works well and just add new perspective?,” she says.
One of the more under-the-radar drops highlighted in the mix is from ASTRO. They recently began working with bitbird, and released “RUNAWAY,” the song featured on the tape, across DSPs last week.
The artist behind the mix is Serboy, and he’s been on Sound as an artist since August of 2022 when he was on the split for “Stems & Twigs Mix” by Melstrom. He’s released his own tracks since then, and has been a collector too. He’s also from Istanbul, Turkey, where the drop was mixed.
DANC3 wants to add more of a global perspective, and they’ve been in contact with collectors across the world to create a place where everyone can participate.
Crittie especially wanted to emphasize this global reach. “I really think there’s a market at the corner of travel and music - I got a boy2k golden egg this weekend and some of the utility is you get to party with them when ur in their hometown”
There are many others who made this project possible, and they all came together with the goal of highlighting artists who have minted music that makes you dance.

We believe music is driven by culture, and DANC3 is participating in the community and creating culture with their curation.
They’re building an inclusive community for everyone, and take anyone who wants to support.
