After bursting onto Sound with a flurry of drops over the past few months, Dabow is back with the first mix of his BEATOLOGY series, where he’ll be releasing a compilation of different beats from his collection with each new volume.
The mix is full of different tempos and oscillating rhythms throughout the 7 tracks that keep your head bobbing.
“Music in the form of a mix has always been interesting for me and for the listeners. We show a conceptual line of work like a live-set, but online. And I wanted to bring it to the web3 world”, says Dabow.

About Dabow
Dabow is a producer reigning from Argentina who has been making electronic music for over a decade. His kickstart to making music came from his dad, who used to record his guitar and had FL Studio 5 on his computer that he got to play around with.
His music began as remixes of Cumbia and Reggaeton songs. He shifted to electronic music after being inspired by Calvin Harris and David Guetta. He made dubstep for nearly a decade under the name Wobad (Dabow backward), one of his biggest tracks being Olé, which has been pressed as a record on Catalog.
Dabow then turned his style (and artist name) around to make experimental trap songs. In a similar way, he’s changing as a musician by exploring releasing music as NFTs.
He said, “Music NFTs seemed like a great new way of value for my music and a much-needed refresh from traditional ways of releasing, presenting, and rewarding.”

Dabow’s drop of BEATOLOGY is the first of a series of mixes where he’ll be releasing beats from his collection every few months into the web3 world.
It’s always encouraging to see artists releasing their music in new ways, and reflects what Music NFTs as a whole enable: artist autonomy over what and how they release their music.
